Anxiety and/or depression can bring us to our knees. Mood issues are highly personal and common, resulting from the difficulties of the human experience. While holding compassionate space, I can show you tools and techniques to manage overwhelming emotions like fear, anger, grief, guilt and shame.

We live in a culture that simultaneously celebrates and shames sexuality. With a massive amount of confusion around healthy sexuality, many of us have experienced sexual trauma and abuse. The result: mood issues, PTSD, substance use issues, disordered eating, body image issues, and relationship challenges. Sexual trauma leaves a devastating legacy. I support people in working through it.

So many of us struggle with our relationship with food, not to mention our relationship with our bodies. The pain this causes can take a major toll on your mental health and relationships. As a somatic psychotherapist and former disordered eater, I aim to help people heal their relationship with food. By learning how to embrace our bodies, so much becomes possible.
I offer outpatient, somatic therapy that helps people with:
Binge eating
Bulimia
Mild-to-moderate anorexia
Chronic or yo-yo dieting
Orthorexia
Compulsive exercise
Emotional eating
Poor body image

Neurodivergence is NOT a mental health issue on its own. Rather, people who are neurodivergent often have to contort themselves or mask in order to have their social and emotional needs met. They often receive explicit or implicit messages that they are “too much” or “not enough,” leading to mood challenges and relationship issues. Folks with ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning disabilities have special needs, which I support as a therapist. (Please note: I do not specialize in autism.)

Underneath almost every mental health issue there is a relational issue. Whether it’s your relationships with others or your relationship with yourself, so much of living well has to do with relating well. I am here to show you how. Whether you’re dealing with betrayal or grief, longing or dissatisfaction, I help clients develop new skills and capacities to love well.

Maybe you’ve experienced religious trauma or you feel alienated from the religion you were brought up with. If you’re looking to address your relationship with the divine on your terms and could use some support, I’d love to be your guide.
