FAQs for you

No, I work with folks who have other concerns such as anxiety, chronic stress, poor self-esteem, relationship challenges, and religious trauma. I enjoy working with people who have internalized shame, which can come from many sources.
Working with PTSD, sexual trauma, and eating disorders happens to be an area of great need that I don’t see getting enough attention and support where I practice.

I do not accept insurance; however, I know how cost can be a barrier to care. I can help verify if you have out-of-network benefits. I use a service called Thrizer that automatically submits super bills for you and allows you to pay only your co-insurance for my sessions, which could save you an average 70% on my full rate each session.

Please reach out to learn about my session rates.
I do offer sliding scale sessions; however, I only have a select number of slots for people with significant need.
If you are interested in sliding scale rates, consider sharing information about your financial situation when you reach out.
I use my practice management software to charge folks after sessions have occurred. This is done using your credit card, which is securely stored with SimplePractice.

Therapy is as much an art as it is a science. Length-of-treatment depends on a variety of factors:
Your presenting issue(s)
Your prior experiences and trauma history
Your commitment to the therapeutic process
We can discuss therapy length during a free consultation or our first few sessions.
